The EpiCity companies
currently manage a portfolio of multi and single family housing units
as well as commercial and industrial properties. The corporate
headquarters are conveniently located in Perimeter Park offices at
North Peachtree Road and I-285 in Dunwoody, Georgia. The offices are
attractive and modern and the staff is versatile in the Microsoft
Office suite of software products. We use Microsoft’s Outlook
platform to provide groupware functionality for calendaring, task
management, and email communication. We employ industry-leading
software from both Geac/AMSI and Yardi Systems for property management
applications. The company is currently engaged in an aggressive
campaign to increase its portfolio of home leasing and management
accounts.
On-site Apartment
Management Staff
EpiCity currently operates multi-family properties
throughout the city of Atlanta and at any give time may have a need at one or more of
these locations. These traditional apartment staffs generally include one or more of the
following: manager, assistant manager and leasing consultant. Some smaller locations have
one individual who performs each of these functions. Rent for the properties are collected
at the home office, so bookkeeping is generally not performed by the site personnel. The
managed portfolio ranges in size from 70 to 300 units generally 30 years of age or older.
The properties are well maintained and the core strengths required of their staff are
excellent customer service, strong marketing and leasing skills, a thorough knowledge of
heating, cooling, electrical and plumbing maintenance issues typically encountered on
older properties, and the ability to access and utilize the Microsoft Office family of
products and Geac/AMSIs PowerSite module for resident record keeping. If you have

Maintenance
Technician
Skilled technicians service apartment communities, single-family homes, and commercial
properties. Technicians
are required to have working knowledge of electrical, plumbing, heating
and air conditioning systems. In addition to performing general maintenance,
light carpentry, technicians will be required to perform
on-call duty on weekly rotation with others. Technicians will garage their
company-issued vehicles at their place of residence when not on duty and
are responsible for the coordination of proper maintenance to the
vehicle. Technicians are expected to keep the vehicle interior and
exterior clean. Technicians are required
to provide their own hand tools including cordless tools.
Hourly wages and excellent benefits are provided for qualified technicians.
Those without a good driving record need not apply.

Administrative Staff
At
the Perimeter Park location we currently seek strong part-time
Administrative Interns to support Senior Management in the areas
including but not limited to web-site development and maintenance,
mass marketing strategies and related database development, liaison
with the Georgia Real Estate Commission, general office administration
and clerical assistance, assistance to commercial and residential
property management, maintenance of company library and software
systems, creation of media
ads and news releases, maintenance of
company files, and NARPM member
development. The ideal
candidate will be a student majoring in Business Administration, Marketing
or Finance that desires a full or part-time paid internships (for
durations of nine weeks or longer) with the option of continuing
employment full or part-time with flexible hours during the school year. Desired skills include familiarity with multiple software programs
for word processing, spreadsheet, and databases. This position requires individuals very comfortable with the use of
the Internet and email, and who have the ability to articulate well over
the telephone, write and speak succinctly, maintain an even disposition
under stress, and think fast and clearly. The person in this position will report to the Director for
Administration and will work closely with the marketing and management
staff.
